Biography

Anitra Wilson is a philanthropist and an experienced technical professional. She is also an IEEE Senior Member and a Senior Member of IEEE WIE and multiple IEEE Societies including the IEEE Power & Energy Society and IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS). Dr. Wilson is an active volunteer on several IEEE PELS Technical Committees including Electrified Transportation Systems (TC 4), Design Methodologies (TC 10), and Aerospace Power (TC 11); IEEE-USA Energy Policy Committee, IEEE-USA Committee on Aerospace and Transportation Policy, and the 2022 IEEE WIE Committee. She participates in various IEEE Technical Communities and has volunteer leadership roles within IEEE in 2022 including as Chair of the IEEE-USA Energy Policy Committee.
