Baton Rouge Section Affinity Group,WIE

This WIE Affinity Group was formed on February 22, 2022, and the first Affinity Group Chair was Anitra Wilson. This WIE Affinity Group aims to foster professional development, leadership, networking, and volunteer opportunities, and to plan and complete activities.

Past activities in 2022 include the organization of the 2022 IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit ‒ Region 5 (WIE ILS ‒ Baton Rouge) held virtually from March 28, 2022, to March 30, 2022, and hosting events, holding the first meeting on February 25, 2022, and additional meetings. Activities beyond 2022 include the Baton Rouge Section Affinity Group,WIE, as one of the hosts for joint meetings of the IEEE Baton Rouge Section and Region 5 events with other hosts region-wide.
