Green Trends and Innovations in the Electronic Industry
11 November, 2012
Topic: | Green Trends and Innovations in the Electronic Industry |
---|---|
Abstract: | This presentation will provide electronic manufacturers an opportunity to learn about a Green Trends and Materials program that electronic OEMs are exploring and potentially introduce into their products if proven viable. Not only are hazardous materials being phased out through Restricted Substance Lists, but there are other areas to further improve the environmental footprint of an electronic product. The introduction of sustainable solutions such as bio-based plastics or Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics will likely compliment this drive towards greener electronics. |
