Bio: Alex Porter is the CEO and Co-Founder of Mod Tech Labs, an AI-powered automation platform for digital content creation. Starting with a background in physical and digital design while earning a degree in Interior Design and Construction Technology, her focus over the last decade has been on powering visual experiences using emerging technologies— including AI, XR, IoT, and 5G. She is a Forbes NEXT 1000 Honoree, an Intel as a Top Innovator since 2017, and an NVIDIA Inception member. She was named the 2021 Woman’s Way Business Rising Star and an Innovation Award winner in 2019 and an honoree in 2020 by the City of Austin. She is an advocate for technologists working to shape standards and educate on the benefits of technology from mentorship to regulations.

Abstract: Virtual worlds are expanding and the future of human interaction is now dependent on reaching users on any screen. Interaction in the metaverse on web3 and beyond is becoming a priority for consumers and businesses alike. A faster 3D ecosystem with easier and more versatile 3D content creation platforms that can enable User Generated Content at scale with no-code tools. Design software companies can benefit from automation and audience expansion to non-technical users and brands can have more interactive and immersive content while users are actively contributing. Maximizing usability across platforms creates the infrastructure needed for a decentralized webiverse.
