Speaker: Drew Barbier, of SiFive
Abstract: RISC-V is rapidly becoming one of the most widely deployed Instruction Set Architectures in the world. This talk will introduce RISC-V and explain why it has become so successful in the industry. Drew will also introduce SiFive, a company that was founded by the inventors of RISC-V and who lead the RISC-V community.
Biography: Drew Barbier, has worked in the Semiconductor industry for over 15 years in a number of engineering and customer-facing roles. Drew joined SiFive in early 2017 and currently is Senior Director of Product Management responsible for SiFive’s RISC-V Core IP portfolio.
