For our April meeting, we are happy to welcome Zane Dunlap from Schneider Electric to come speak on IECC 2024
Presentation:
The 2024 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) is the latest model energy code published by the International Code
Council (ICC). It establishes minimum energy-efficiency requirements for residential and commercial buildings and was
developed using a consensus-based standards process led by industry professionals. For engineers, IECC 2024 increases
emphasis on integrated system design, performance-based compliance, and documentation. Approximately 7–8% improvement in energy efficiency compared to IECC 2021, with increased reliance on performance paths and system trade-offs. This impacts Lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Speaker Bio:
Zane Dunlap studied at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, gaining valuable experience in the logistics, sales, marketing and customer relationships. While at Schneider Electric, Zane excelled in one of our elite SDP programs, with a specific focus on Sales. He supported our American Power Conversion product (APC) catalog and notably grew the region he supported by 25%. Zane has shown strong leadership qualities and a willingness to take on new challenges during his time at Schneider. He joined a newly funded organization within the Commercial Sales Operations (CSO) BU, where he supported SLED business for half of the country. He is currently the Business Development Specialist for the Dallas area.
As with all of our meetings, we will be providing lunch. If you do not pay online beforehand, we will not be purchasing lunch for you.
