Meet Our Region 5 Directors in a Special Evening at Peel House at First Lutheran
We are having a Special & Elegant Evening with Dinner at Peel House at First Lutheran so our Section Members can meet our Region 5 Directors and find out more about our the IEEE Southwest Region. The Directors are eager to meet our members and get to know you better. Bring your spouse or partner if you like. Sign up early since attendance will be limited to 40 people.
Christopher Sanderson is our current R5 Director and Ian MacMillan is our Director-elect.
About the Peel House – This is a mansion built in 1905 located in the Old North End of Colorado Springs which was owned by William and Patty Jewett who owned a gold mine and founded the Colorado National Bank (the first Bank in town). It has been beautifully restored to its original condition with modern facilities to support non-profit meetings. We will have a catered buffet dinner served in its dining room and our meeting will be in the large living area. Many in Colorado Springs know that the family donated one of the first golf courses west of the Mississippi to the city – the Patty Jewett Golf Course.
