SAMSAT and the IEEE – A Productive Partnership

Abstract:
The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology (SAMSAT) was founded in May 2016. IEEE members have been working as SAMSAT volunteers since the first year, building displays, researching and curating artifacts, planning exhibits and assisting the museum in many ways. Most recently IEEE members have been converting rooms in the Education Center to museum exhibits and mentoring interns building exhibits for AREA 21.
The presentation will include highlights and pictures from the last 9 years and a tour of the exhibits in the Education Center. During the tour you will see the best collection of Datapoint products and the largest collection of antique telephones in the world.

Seating goes to those who register via this vtools event in the order received; plan ahead to REGISTER.
Updated Registration Fees:
At the door, there is a $15.00 fee for Members, $25.00 for Guests and $5.00 for Students. We accept Cash or Check, no credit cards. Exact amounts preferable. Remainder of the tab will be picked up by the EMB.
Lunch will be catered.
