A Downtown Network System is a highly reliable electrical distribution configuration used in densely-loaded urban centers, where multiple transformers and feeders are connected in parallel on the secondary side to supply power to loads. The downtown area of Colorado Springs is served by a Downtown Network System. This presentation discusses the modeling of a Network system and the Contingency and Capacity analysis of the system.
