Distinguished Lecturer Tutorial:  “Power System Analysis and Inverter-Based Technologies”

Not to be outdone, IEEE Distinguished Lecturer,  Babak Badrzadeh of Aurecon & Monash University, presented a 4-hour tutorial that is increasingly critical for power utilities facing the growth of inverter-based technologies (grid forming and grid-following), including topologies, operating principles, HVDC,  on their systems. Held at ERCOT Austin, to a moderate in-person audience and a large on-line audience, this topic will continue to be a focus for the foreseeable future.
