Intro
Each year the IEEE PI2 Chapter solicits nominations for the following awards. The chapter accepts nominations for qualified individuals and aims to recognize engineering excellence for engineers engaged in the power and energy, power electronics, industry applications, industrial electronics, and product safety fields.
- IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Chapter Volunteer Award
- IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Engineer Award < 15 years
- IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Engineer Award > 15 years
- IEEE PI2 Outstanding Engineer Award
Qualifications
Award nominees must meet the following criteria to be eligible for an award. Self-nominations are not permitted. All nominees must be IEEE members in good standing and live in the Central Texas Section.
IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Chapter Volunteer Award
- The nominee must be a member of the Power and Energy Society and an active volunteer in the PI2 chapter.
IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Engineer Award < 15 years
- The nominee must be a member of the Power and Energy Society and have less than 15 years of professional experience.
IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Engineer Award > 15 years
- The nominee must be a member of the Power and Energy Society and have more than 15 years of professional experience.
IEEE PI2 Outstanding Engineer Award
- The nominee must be engaged in the power and energy, power electronics, industry applications, industrial electronics, or product safety fields.
Nomination Information
Nominations are open from October 1st to November 15th of each year. Awards will be granted in the first half of following next year. Please submit nominations below to Eric.Meier@ieee.org:
