GreenTech Conference and Region 5 Meeting
Join your fellow Region 5 IEEE Members on April 6-8, 2018 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, TX for great meetings, workshops, and student competitions.
The IEEE Green Technologies Conference (GreenTech) April 4th – 6th was conceived to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time–securing green and clean energy sources for the 21st century to protect the environment and help build a more resilient power grid. GreenTech is now in its 10th year, and the hope is to draw insights and encourage collaboration from many disciplines and backgrounds in order to address these challenges.
The IEEE Region 5 Conference is the opportunity for IEEE leadership, membership, faculty and students to meet, celebrate, and show off their skills and hard work at the 2018 IEEE Region 5 Student Competition after the GreenTech Conference in Austin! Competitions include Circuit Design, Student Ethics, Robotics, and Student Papers. All competitions are targeted to undergraduate students. The student competitions provides the opportunity to compete against other Region 5 teams, develop technical skill, and promote your university. The competitions are designed to encourage critical thinking, technical writing, and project management.
