This year the most common phrase in nominations was “in spite of the pandemic.” This year’s awards reflect excellence in the face of adversity and these recipients rightously deserve to be recognized for their efforts. Christopher Sanderson, SMIEEE was recognized by Jim Look, SMIEEE R5 Director for his efforts in supporting the Sections within the Region 5 South Area as Area Chair and for service as Chair of the Houston Section, and member of the HKN Board of Governors, member of the IEEE Admission and Advancement Committee, and producing IEEE-TV video productions.

Advancing Technology for Humanity and being recognized for it.

The Houston Section has already known for many years of Christopher’s hard volunteer efforts and it’s nice to see that the Region also recognizes his efforts. Congrats again Christopher Sanderson for your dedication and living our moto of “Advancing Technology for Humanity”.
