Abstract
Mr. Lee will present an electromagnetic field solution to a parabolic dish antenna with horn source using HFSS to demonstrate the general capabilities of the ANSYS tool. This problem will be solved in two ways to exhibit the finite element method (FEM) and integral equation (IE) approaches. A method combining both of these numerical techniques will be demonstrated and various post-processing techniques will be demonstrated as well. This will be performed on general, non-proprietary geometry.
Mr. Lee will also demonstrate an electromagnetic antenna solution, using HFSS to evaluate signal integrity (SI) aspects of a printed circuit board.
