This seminar will review With advent of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED), communication applications, and protection functions spread among many IED devices, the substation configuration and associated logic could be difficult to document for engineering, operation, and maintenance purposes. In this seminar, we explore Protection, Automation and Control (PAC) systems documentation based on logic diagrams and communication configuration. Review of the Boolean, logic elements and sequencing machine concept for PAC system.
