Houston Section on IEEE.tv – What to Watch Next?
Introduction
IEEE.tv has great content that can help IEEE members get more out of their membership. Videos ranging from online meetings, technical conferences, insightful interviews, and educational / “how to” engineering guides. There are also Live shows to choose from. The videos are free to IEEE members, and are a nominal cost for non-IEEE members. There is even a free IEEE.tv app on the Apple store to display the content on your favorite smart phone.

Fabian Monsalve | IEEE Region 5 Presents Stepping Stone Awards on the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 | On July 27th IEEE Region 5 dedicated Stepping Stone awards to two NASA teams that have been crucial to The National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA) programs. One award was presented for the creation of the Analytic Ephemeris Generator (AEG), which provided the rapid planning and real-time orbit predictor for early space programs. Subsequent advancement of the AEG is still used in manned space mission orbit predictions. |
R5 Houston Section | 2019 IEEE Day Celebrated with the HOUSTON Section | IEEE Day in Houston was celebrated on October 29th, with a little Halloween fun and a Chocolate tasting paired with wine and food. This year we partnered with Tony Najjar, a former IEEE member and the owner of XOCOLLA Artisan Chocolate. |
