eMeritbadage.orgTeach Electricity & Electronics in the Mountains of West Virginia with the IEEE eMerit Badges Project

Do you want to raise the awareness and understanding of technology and its impact on society to middle and high school students from around the world?  The IEEE emeritbadges Project is a global pre-university technology education program for boys and girls.  emeritbadges has developed a program to foster the accomplishment of its vision around the Electricity Merit Badge and the Electronics Merit Badge programs.  A group of thirty (30) volunteers is needed to implement most of the project objectives at the 2017 National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia from 15 – 29 July 2017.  The Jamboree will be attended by thousands of boys and girls from around the world.

YOU are needed to staff the Electricity and Electronics Merit Badge booth in the STEM Quest area at the 2017 National Jamboree.

Contact Ralph W. Russell, II at emeritbadges@ieee.org to volunteer to spend two (2) weeks in the scenic West Virginia mountains adjacent to the New River Gorge National River area to teach boys and girls the basics of electricity and electronics.
