Wichita State University College of Engineering held its Engineering Open House for the fall semester on the 9th of December, where students enrolled in the senior design program are given an opportunity to present their work to academics as well as people from the industry. Senior Members of the IEEE Wichita section were present to evaluate the ECE projects and picked out three outstanding projects to be awarded.

1st Place: Brendan Murphy and Jeremy Anderson

2nd Place: Cole McDaniel, Ethan Doerkson, Brianna Smith, and Jacob Minter

Project: 4-Motor Electronic Speed Controller

3rd Place: Ivan Macias, Newton Grady, Rakan Ghaith, Tyler Burns

Project: Surfacecomb Blemish and Defect Detection
