2022 R5 Annual Meeting: Student ETHICS Competition

Eligibility: The Student Ethics Competition invites the IEEE Student Branches and IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Chapters at universities throughout IEEE Region 5 to send one, two-member undergraduate team to compete in the Ethics competition. The students must register for the IEEE Region 5 Student Conference and must be current or pending IEEE or IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu members, but there are no additional costs. Team substitutions are at the discretion of the competition chair. Only one team is allowed from each IEEE Student Branch or IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Chapter due to space limitations. Intent to Compete and Registration Each team MUST complete the online Intent to Compete form (below) and (https://r5conferences.org/register/) their team under the name of only one of the team members. (Only one registration is needed per team.) On the form, including the team name that is submitted on the Intent to Compete form. A deposit of $25 per team is required with the registration, which will be refunded after the competition to those who participate. Space is limited so competition registration will close when the available space for ten (10) teams is filled, but no later than 12:00 am CST (Houston time), March 15, 2022. The first team to (https://r5conferences.org/register/) from each student branch will have priority unless otherwise designated by the branch counselor. Other teams from the same university will be allowed as space permits.
