Project Management:An Overview This presentation provides the definition of project management, the five phases of a project (Conception and Initiation), Planning and Design, Launch or Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closure and Evaluation (Lessons Learned). What is required to complete each of the phases successfully? Managing issues and the specific documents required during the lifecycle of the project. This presentation addresses the specific requirements to achieve the project goals, and project objectives and shows the value to the client/customer/end user. The relationship between the project manager and executive management is identified. Finally, the project’s lessons learned are documented for future projects.
