Elkins Robotics/Electronics Club – TinkerSquad (Beginner Group)

352 N Center St, Elkins, Arkansas, United States, 72727

Join us this Wednesday for our Spring Beginners program! Are you interested in learning circuits and electronics? Perhaps computers pique your interest and you want to understand how they work. Join us as we learn how to make video games in pythong and then discover how embedded systems can interact with our games (controllers)! Don't worry - no prior experience is needed and we will help you learn just how fun and cool electronics hardware and software is. Want to learn more? Elkins Robotics/Electronics Club – Audion Assemblers & Fabrication Battalion (Intermediate & Advance Group)

352 N Center St, Elkins, Arkansas, United States, 72727

Welcome back Audion Assemblers and Fabrication Battalion! Our intermediate group (Audion Assemblers) will be learning about model-view-controllers and how to remake their old games in a better, optimized fashion. In additon to this, they will be learning how to integrate their Micro:Bit's into their games to use them as video game controllers. This is similar to what they have already done in semesters past, but this time they are making everything work together. Our advance group (Fabrication Battalion) will continue designing their PCB's for their handheld gaming console: the Game:Bit Advance. Last semester, they were almost finished with their schematics. Starting Valentines day, they will begin their design processes for laying out the PCB. Want to learn more? Enhancing STEM Education through AI-Assisted Tutoring

Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/415849

AI-Assisted Tutoring represents a transformative approach to education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. This innovative educational model integrates artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to create personalized learning experiences, addressing the unique needs and learning styles of each student. The core of AI-assisted tutoring lies in its ability to analyze vast amounts of data, including student performance metrics, learning preferences, and engagement levels, to tailor educational content and methodologies. The system employs algorithms and machine learning techniques to identify knowledge gaps, predict learning outcomes, and adapt instructional strategies in real-time. This dynamic approach ensures that students receive targeted support in areas where they need it most, promoting deeper understanding and retention of complex STEM concepts. Moreover, AI-assisted tutoring can simulate one-on-one interaction, providing immediate feedback and guidance, thereby fostering a supportive and responsive learning environment. The integration of AI in STEM education has the potential to revolutionize traditional teaching paradigms by making learning more accessible, efficient, and effective. It can bridge educational gaps, enhance student performance, and inspire a generation of learners to excel in STEM disciplines. This abstract explores the potential of AI-assisted tutoring to transform STEM education, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and future prospects in nurturing the next wave of innovators and problem-solvers.
