IEEE CENTRAL TEXAS Life Members Chapter hosted the inaugural 2024 LIFE MEMBERS CONFERENCE in Austin, TX
On April 14-16. 2024, IEEE Life Members-Austin hosted a three-day event specially curated by IEEE Life Members. With a theme of Evolution: Technology, Applications, and Contributions, the inaugural conference included a series of workshops, keynote presentations, sessions, and technical tours of several local companies.
IEEE CENTRAL TEXAS SECTION held its 2024 WINTER EX-COM & SEC-COM MEETING (in person and virtual) on January 27, 2024 at Texas State University!
The event had excellent turnout from regular Chapters and Student Chapters, and included a fun robotics presentation
The budget was approved with a caveat that the donation to the Life Members Conference be clarified.
We have 29 members of the Executive Committee, so we needed a quorum of 15 to pass the chapter and section budgets.
All IEEE members are always welcome to attend. Breakfast Tacos and Barbecue lunch are always a treat See pictures below! Keep a lookout for the Summer/Fall meeting (end of August or early September).
