Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is the Botanic Garden of Texas. The Center promotes its mission to inspire the conservation of native plants through its internationally recognized sustainable gardens, education and outreach programs, and research projects. www.wildflower.org/about/overview for more information. We are inviting all IEEE Central Texas Life Members and your spouse to enjoy a Spring day morning walk in the Lady Johnson Wildflower Center on May 4, 2023. We have been doing hybrid meetings for few years and hope to meet in person to renew our companionship and share your latest story. Directiion from Austin downtown, head south on Loop 1 (MoPac) for approximately 10 miles. Take a left on La Crosse Avenue. The main entrance is toward the end of the road on the right. Parking is available but limited. If the lot is full, you may park on La Crosse Avenue. Agenda: 9;30 AM - Meet in the entrance of the Wildflower Center 9:45 AM - LMAG will pay for the admission fee and enter the Center. 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM - Group Tour (with Doccent or self guide) 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM - Buy your own lunch at the Cafe 1:30 PM - Adjourn the event. 4801 La Crosse Ave., Austin, Texas, United States, 78738
