MacroFab Hardware & Electronics Engineering Meetup

  On Wednesday, November 28, 2018 the IEEE Houston Section facilitate a What Are Standards? seminar at the MacroFab meetup. MacroFab in partnership with Mouser Electronics host these monthly community meetup events to encourage hobbies, entrepreneurs, and small and major businesses the opportunity to exchange informational on electronics and share Best Practices. Christopher Sanderson, IEEE Houston Section Vice-Chair and IEEE Region 5 South Chair facilitated the seminar to over 35 attendees many of which were IEEE members. Many were surprise to learn about the history of standards and the number of IEEE standards around Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). Here is a small sampling of the type of PCB IEEE Standards:
