Region 5 is sponsoring a meeting in Glasgow, Scotland for the PSD orientation for PSDs and OSDs who are attending Sections Congress. Director Sanderson will host the orientation meeting. IEEE elected officials may drop in to share their perspective on the future of IEEE and new programs. The anticipated start time for Friday morning is 9 am. A light refreshment of small pastries and coffee will be available at 8:30 am to facilitate introductions. A Region picture is tentatively scheduled for 12:30 pm so Region 5 is sponsoring a light lunch. Agenda: IEEE registration badges will be provided at the R5 PSD orientation meeting on Friday morning from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. A flexible schedule is being used to include the IEEE Region 5 picture. If you do not attend the Friday morning session, please go to the registration desk to obtain your registration badge. The Friday morning meeting will facilitate the PSD orientation and allow groups to share comments on the SC2026 agenda. This meeting also encourages networking between members who have previously attended and the new attendees. The group will continue networking by sharing best practices with small sections and large section groups and sharing within the Region.
