Dr. Sanjay Benerjee, a Fellow of IEEE and the Cockrell Regents Chair Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director, Microelectronics Center, University of Texas, Austin, Texas, has been named the recipient of the 2014  IEEE Andrew S. Grove Award for contributions to column-IV MOSFETs and related materials processing.  He is a member of the Central Texas Section and will receive this most prestigious IEEE-level award in a formal presentation at a 2014 IEEE venue to be determined.
Dr. Thomas E. Linnebrink, a Fellow of IEEE and Manager, Teqovations, LLC in Colorado Springs, has been named the recipient of the 2014 IEEE Joseph F. Keithley Award in Instrumentation and Measurement for pioneering charge-mode analog-to-digital converters and for developing IEEE-standard converter terminology and test methods. He is a member of the Pikes Peak Section and will receive this most prestigious IEEE-level award in a formal presentation at a 2014 IEEE venue to be determined.
Dr. Hamid A. Toliyat, a Fellow of IEEE and Professor and Director of Electric Power & Electronics Program, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, has been named the recipient of the 2014 IEEE Nikola Tesla Award for his contributions to the design, analysis, and control of fault-tolerant multiphase electric machines. He is a member of the Houston Section and will receive this most prestigious IEEE-level award in a formal presentation at a 2014 IEEE venue to be determined.
Dr. Lihong Wang, a Fellow of IEEE and the Gene K. Beare Distinguished Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, has been named the recipient of the 2014 IEEE Biomedical Engineering Award for his pioneering photoacoustic tomography. He is a member of the St. Louis Section and will receive this most prestigious IEEE-level award in a formal presentation at a 2014 IEEE venue to be determined.
