Seeking Nominations for the IEEE Region 5 Director Elect 2016-17
The IEEE Region 5 Executive Committee is seeking nominations for Region 5 Director-Elect for 2016-17. For this election cycle the member must come from the Region 5 South Area (Central Texas, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Galveston Bay, or Houston Sections). Candidates selected would appear on the IEEE Ballot in the Fall of 2015. The individual elected by all voting members in Region 5 would serve as follows:

Region 5 Director Elect and R5 Executive Committee Member 2016-17

Region 5 Director and IEEE Board Member in 2018-19

Region 5 Past Director and R5 Executive Committee member 2020-21
Candidates must be a senior member or higher, come from the South Area, and submit the nomination form (link provided below). Anyone can nominate including self nomination. To receive consideration, the completed nomination form must be submitted to the Region 5 Past-Director at jjefferies@ieee.org . Questions can also be directed to the Past Director. The deadline for submission is December 15, 2014.
