SW MO IEEE Speaker Meeting – Principles of Quantum Computing & State of Art
February 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:01 pm CST
Mark Hagood, Texas Instruments Semiconductor and Executive Management at several companies (Retired), will present his latest findings on the principles of quantum computing and its state-of-the-art. The presentation will be from the layman's perspective, starting with the particle and wave properties of an electron, progressing through the existence of qubits and quantum entanglement, to the function of the oracle in quantum computing. Mark hopes to pique interest in quantum computing, raising more questions than answers.
The meeting will be held in person at the Missouri State University Engineering Center and College of the Ozarks Engineering Building and Virtually. The meeting is on Thursday February 27th from noon until 1:00p. Details are provided in Location below. Snack will be provided at physical locations.
