Welcome to the new year PES! In February (19th) we have our first PES meeting of the year focused on distributed energy resources (DER) protection and automation, presented by Dr. Julio Romero Agüero, PhD, MBA. Dr. Julio is Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Innovation at Quanta Technology, he is a member of the IEEE distinguished lecturer program (DLP), and he is a technical expert in the confusing and developing topics surrounding 1547. This technical presentation will be on protection and automation fundamentals concerning primary customers feeding microgrid generation on utility distribution circuits.
This will be in-person at the Cannon on Brittmoore, this time on the first floor. All attendees will receive a continuing education certificate for one (1) PDH. And as always, join us after the meeting for a networking happy hour at The Powder Keg Bar next door.
