Please mark your calendars for Friday, January 31 - Sunday, February 2 for the Region 5 Winter Excom meeting. Voting member (excom) of Region 5 will be meeting in Corpus Christi, hosted by the TAMUCC student branch leadership and faculty advisor on the TAMUCC campus. Hotel details will be forwarded shortly. Please register so we can get a head count. Topics for this year's meeting include - Priorities for 2025 and alignment with the greater IEEE - Conference strategy - action from the fall conference meeting - Organizational strategy - continuing to work better together through effective communication and organization We will be staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Corpus Christi; Please book HERE: https://group.embassysuites.com/l44ycm We will open the weekend with our usual Friday evening networking reception at the hotel with TAMUCC student branch and Corpus Christi section leadership invited. On Saturday our plan is hold our meeting on the TAMUCC campus, hosted by the TAMUCC Student Branch. Saturday evening will be dinner out, again with local guests. Sunday morning’s meeting will be at the hotel, with plans to break by noon. Travel to/from the airport will be by individual Uber/Lyft arrangements with ride sharing encouraged. Thanks!
