Introduction

After Dr John Santiago has been using ChatGPT for over a year, he found that all his previous conversations can be built upon.  Dr Santiago’s career path and activities includes the following:

• Twenty-six Years as an engineer/technical leader in the United States Air Force focused on research, development and acquisition.
• Over twenty years in higher education, teaching over 40 courses in electrical engineering, computer engineering, system engineering, physics and mathematics. He has taught at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), University of West Florida and Colorado Technical University (CTU)
• Over twenty-years as a bucket-list entrepreneur, resulting in developing skills in AI-assisted multimedia STEAM/STEM education and content creation, website management, and developing an entrepreneneurial mindset based on the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (or KEEN) framework.
• Over 43 years as an IEEE member.
  • Currently an IEEE Senior Life Member as Region 5 Educational Activities Coordinator (REAC), Section Educational Outreach Coordinator (SEOC) and Webmaster for the IEEE Pikes Peak Region. He became an IEEE member in 1982 and his volunteer activities include the following:
  • 2007-2019:  Faculty Advisor for the IEEE CTU Student Branch
  • 2015-2018:  Vice Chair, IEEE Pikes Peak Section
  • Jan 2019- Feb 2023: Chair, IEEE Pikes Peak Section and Webmaster
  • Jan 2024 – Present: REAC/SEOC for Region 5 and Webmaster for IEEE Pikes Peak Section
